Environmental impact assessment of projects
The DW Office for Environmental Consulting provides environmental impact assessment services for petroleum projects, factories, companies and all other activities and helps in treating pollutants and industrial waste and fulfilling the environmental system in the Sultanate of Oman and then obtaining the necessary environmental permits whether to establish the project or operate the project or both together.
Environmental management plan
The DW Office for Environmental Consulting prepares an environmental management plan for the activities of the first category that result in minor environmental waste in accordance with the environmental system in The Sultanate of Oman . It discusses environmental management systems and determines the stages of the manufacturing process and the resulting waste and how to dispose of them in a safe manner.
Environmental rehabilitation
DW Office for Environmental Consulting prepares the closure and environmental rehabilitation plan for environmentally damaged projects and sites, such as: gas stations, quarries, landfills, and others, in accordance with the environmental system and the requirements of the National Center for Oversight of Environmental Compliance.
Preparing environmental records
A team of consultants from DW Office for Environmental Consulting prepares the environmental record for the facility, as the environmental record is considered the first step on the path to modern environmental management and sound environmental commitment. It is an environmental identification card for the facility, a statement of its activity, and evidence of the facility or institution’s commitment to environmental standards and specifications.
Environmental monitoring
It is an important process for projects with a potential environmental impact, and the implemented works must be followed up and monitored according to their environmental impacts, the extent of their spread, and their proximity to environmentally sensitive sites, in order to ensure the success of these projects.
The DW Office for Environmental Consulting does the following:
- Environmental monitoring programs during operation and construction operations.
- Cooperating with accredited laboratories to ensure the accuracy of environmental tests and analyses.
- Follow up on the facility’s compliance with the provisions and regulations of the environmental system.
- Work on following up on emergency plans and reporting environmental incidents.
